ABOUT BRYAN'S MUSIC -- While primarily known as a big band writer, Bryan's work with the Navy Band afforded him the opportunity to write for ensembles large and small -- winds, strings and choral -- in a wide variety of styles. Steeped in the traditions of "The Great American Songbook," his writing is characterized by tuneful melodies derived from a strong harmonic vocabulary and supported with solid orchestration. An admirer of Sammy Nestico, Bryan endeavors to follow Sammy's example of writing musically for the developing musician and without burden for the professional.
ABOUT BRYANKIDDMUSIC.COM -- Many of the pieces Bryan wrote for noted publishers -- Alfred Music, Curnow Music Publications, FJH Music Co. and William Allen Music -- have "returned home," residing now at BryanKiddMusic.com and distributed through J.W. Pepper's MyScore. In addition to having an outlet for more recent works, it is Bryan's goal to share his music with yet another generation of music educators, and community and professional ensembles. show less
